Italian American War Veterans of US (ITAM), Department of Rhode Island, IRS 501 (c) 19 veteran organization Leave No Veteran Alone (LNVA) program committed to serving all Veterans and spouses of deceased veterans living in long-term facilities, senior assisted living, or living at home alone. Mission Statement
The Leave No Veteran Alone mission is to improve the e quality of lives of veterans and spouses living in long-term care, assisted-living, and at home alone., our values are at the core of everything we do. We believe in honesty, integrity, and respect for all. We are committed to improving the lives of veterans and spouses of deceased veterans ensuring they are not alone. We meet monthly with veteran residents at these facilities providing food item staples ( Dunkin Donuts, weiners, Awful-Awful, Del's Lemonade, Liver and Onions, NY Style Hot Weiners,Devil Dogs, Twinkees, etc...) enjoyed before becoming a resident at the family lunches and desserts.
Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs and services to improve the lives of veterans and spouses of deceased veterans in long-term care, assisted living, and senior living facilities.
ITAM schedules social events( coffee social, lunches, cookouts, etc..) on a monthly schedule. Veterans Secret Santa program provides comfort items veterans can not afford with $75 a month they are left with after paying for long term care.
